I am very proud to be headteacher of this amazing school, tucked away in the heart of Guildford town centre.

Sandfield is a Primary school built in 1901 and retains much of the Victorian beauty within its site and buildings.  We have a PAN of 30 per class and an age range of 4 to 11.

The school was originally a boys school connected to the Nursery in York Road by a bridge.  The school later became Sandfield Infant School and Sandfield Girls School, when at aged 11 pupils moved on to Stoke C of E Secondary Modern in Markenfield Road, now houses and flats.

Families travel from far and near to attend Sandfield and all share our aims that children will be happy, build a solid foundation of learning and show their skills and talents as they learn to become responsible and caring to one another and the world in which they live.
