With 20 years’ experience leading SCITT, George Abbot SCITT is an Ofsted Outstanding provider offering practical training in a variety of schools, with experienced practitioners to mentor you through the course. We are a highly respected and well established provider delivering school based Initial Teacher Training through Teach Surrey, an alliance of Outstanding Teaching Schools and their associated partner schools for both Primary and Secondary teaching, with the option to specialise in Special Needs.
This is why we are proud to be work in partnership with George Abbot SCITT, an Ofsted Outstanding and well-established Accredited Provider of Initial Teacher Training, working in collaboration with a large number of Surrey schools.
You could train here in our school supported by an experienced Mentor on a salaried or unsalaried training placement. Gain on-the-job experience and at the end of the academic year you should be recommended for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and if you choose, obtain a PGCE (60 credits at Masters level) awarded in conjunction with Kingston University.
