Uniform at Sandfield

Most items of uniform are available to order online via Scopay.  Any items that we do not stock (white polo shirts etc.) are available to purchase from shops and supermarkets in and around Guildford.

On-Site Uniform Shop

Please order online using the option to order and pay for uniform online and these will be available for collection within 48 hours (subject to stock availability).

The following items of School Uniform are available to purchase online : red sweatshirts with logo, red cardigans with logo, red and green ties (Yr 5 & Yr6 only), red PE T Shirts with logo, green shorts, green joggers

Other school items available to purchase are: red hooded sweatshirts for PE and outdoor wear, red baseball or red ski Hat for winter, red brimmed summer hat with logo, red hair accessories, school backpacks, book bags (for Reception children only)

KS1 Uniform

In Key Stage 1 and Early Years, pupils wear either the red cardigan or the sweatshirt with the school logo, a white polo-shirt, grey trousers, bottle green skirts or pinafores.  In the summer, pupils may wear a red gingham dress or grey shorts.

PE Kit: green school shorts, red school T-shirt, black plimsolls or trainers that they can do up themselves (no internal lights, dangling parts, etc), outdoor P.E. green joggers for cold weather, school hooded sweatshirt (optional).

KS2 Uniform

In Key Stage 2, pupils wear either the red cardigan or the sweatshirt with the school logo.  Pupils in Yr3 &Yr4 wear a white polo shirt. Pupils in Yr 5& Yr6 wear a white shirt with the red and green tie. All pupils to wear , grey trousers, bottle green skirts or pinafores.  In the summer, pupils may wear a red gingham dress or grey shorts.

Footwear

All shoes must be black and have a safe and sensible design, additional details and lights are not permitted.  Shoes must be flat and have no heel to ensure the safety of the wearer.  Black, brown or white sandals may be worn in the summer with socks or covered toes to ensure toe safety, Crocs and backless sandals are not permitted.

Jewellery

In the interests of health and safety children must not wear jewellery to school, with the exception of medical alert bands.  If pierced earrings are worn they must be studs only, no piercing may be worn in any other area than up to one in each ear..  All watches and medical bands and earrings must be removed independently by the child for PE and swimming lessons and remain the child’s responsibility (unless containing life threatening information).

Hair

All hair, which is shoulder length or longer is expected to be tied up at all times.  Hair accessories must be in school colours of red, green, white or black.  No hair markings may be worn that could causes any offence to others.  Sandfield is an equal opportunity school and this applies to all genders.

Swimming Lessons

Those pupils taking part in the weekly school swimming sessions will require a plain costume or trunks, preferably in the school colours, and a towel in a waterproof bag (please note that bikinis are not permitted). This should be brought into school and taken home again on the day of the swimming session.  Earrings are not permitted to be worn during swimming lessons and children must be able to remove these by themselves.
