Visitors, Volunteering and Work Experience at Sandfield

Please report to the main school office to sign in and you will be assisted by our office staff where you will be given a visitors badge. Please ensure that this is visible throughout your visit.

We Need You!
We are always looking for volunteers to support the children and wider school community at Sandfield.
There are many ways you can get involved, including:
- Listening to children read
- Supporting PTA events and activities
- Accompanying classes on local educational visits
- Assisting with walking children to swimming lessons
If you would like to volunteer at Sandfield, you will need to complete an Enhanced DBS check and, if you are over 18, a Childcare Disqualification Declaration form.

Once we have received your application, we will contact you to discuss how your skills and availability could best support the school.
Before commencing your volunteer role, you will be required to complete essential training, including:
- Safeguarding
- Prevent Duty
- Volunteer Code of Conduct
