Sandfield PTA (Parent Teacher Association)

Sandfield PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is our parent/carer organisation that creates a programme of fund raising and social events for the school community. The money raised by the events is used to make the school environment even better.  We always need volunteers and it’s not as time-consuming as you might think.  Just a couple of hours a month from you can make all the difference in the funds we raise.

We are extremely grateful to have such a pro-active and caring parent community who work together to raise the much needed funds.  Over the last couple of years we have put this money towards purchasing iPads for both Key Stages, as well as new sporting activities and events for the children in order to raise physical and mental wellbeing for all.

Help is always needed and remember, every parent is a member of the PTA!

7th to 13th December 2020 – Sandfield Virtual Christmas Fair – as our usual Christmas Fair event could not take place this year we went ‘virtual’.  There were various competitions for children and families to enter as well as our infamous ‘Jolly Jars’ to buy.  We had some amazing entries for the Sandfield ‘Bake Off’, Name the Teddy, Festive Pet Show, Sandfield Art Competition, Guess how many Smarties in the Jar and Guess the Address of the Gingerbread House.  The Christmas Fair Newsletter above has some photos of the entries.

Thank you to all parents and carers for your support this term.
