Inclusion at Sandfield

Working together as part of the Inclusion and Pastoral Team, to support children and their families our Home School Worker (HSLW), Lucy Lidstrom and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo), Laura Kennedy, are available to meet with parents in school. Information for Parents

The SENDCo can support parents by coordinating appropriate support for their child and ensuring parents are fully involved in decisions about their child’s education.

The Home School Link Worker can support children and their families so that pupils can attend, engage and thrive in school. This may include referrals to outside agencies, course referrals, EAL support, Young Carers and emotional support.

Our Inclusion team Padlet lists some recommended resources from the Inclusion and Pastoral Team. This is aimed at all our parents and carers and is a live platform that is updated, so please do look at it regularly.
