Pupil Leadership at Sandfield

Our Year 6 Ambassadors and tour guides are proud to represent Sandfield. They welcome visitors, share our school ethos and celebrate our diverse and inclusive community. Their enthusiasm and passion for school life make them excellent role models.

Our Technology Ambassadors are passionate about digital learning and represent our school’s computing vision. They share how our one-to-one iPad approach supports personalised, inclusive learning and helps every pupil access learning in ways that work best for them.

They regularly showcase our approach to prospective families, trainee teachers and other education professionals, confidently sharing their experiences of technology-enhanced learning. Our ambassadors have had the opportunity to share insights with teachers and trainees from a range of settings. One trainee teacher attending our EAL and Technology morning shared: “I didn’t realise teaching in this way with technology was possible—it creates an inclusive and ambitious learning environment where every child, regardless of background or starting point, is empowered to succeed.”

Our Junior Leadership Team is made up of elected representatives from Years 3 to 6. The JLT meets regularly to discuss pupils’ ideas and help make positive changes across the school.

Members act as role models, support pupils and staff, welcome visitors and help ensure that pupil voice.
